The Girls Are Back in Town!!
My mom has never failed to frequent visits to whatever city life takes me. So far it's been two…and she never fails to bring the wine and the party.
3 Lessons I Learned from Mom:
1. Life is too short, so don't work too much or sweat the small things.
2. Pick your battles. This has helped me not only in relationships, but also in my current management job.
3. Try at all times to have the most fun possible. (This includes but is not limited to pre-gaming family reunions and riding across Pennsylvania in a Winnebago.)
I've got an entire weekend planned of bar and restaurant hopping mixed with some site seeing and a pool day. Can't wait!
